During the interview process, we will review your knowledge of the company.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Provide support to our staff throughout the employee lifecycle from onboarding, transfers, performance cycles and critical moments through departureManage various compliance-related items in accordance with various regulations with which we must comply.Manage the recruiting process and assisting the Chief of Staff and managers with identifying the next great person to join their team.Maintain employee data across HR systems, including entering new hire information, updating organizational charts, job titles, pay changes etc.Oversee HR functions specifically related to the investment fund including tracking profit sharing programs.Assist in program rollouts and trainings (ie performance review process, salary planning, benefits open enrollment, etc.)Act as first point of contact and research/respond to employee inquiries related to benefits, payroll, compensation, and HR related policiesCoordinate payroll to ensure employees' contributions and other benefit transactions are processed accuratelyComplete I-9 verifications for new employees and provide employment verifications as neededEnsure HR documents, posters, and reports are submitted correctly and in a timely manner according to legal federal and local requirementsBe an internal champion for employees, escalating employee issues as appropriate and collaborating remotely with other teamsAssist with ongoing operational team needs and support the implementation of HR initiatives and broader operations-team projects as needed and as bandwidth allows.RequirementsTo succeed in this role you'll have:Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years experience in HRAbility to work with the highest degree of confidentiality - exercising discretion, judgment and professionalismExceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work both independently as well as part of a collaborative teamWorks through ambiguity by anticipating needs and being proactive, resourceful and flexibleCurious self-starter with as passionate for providing a high quality employee experienceStrong organizational, detail-oriented and follow through skills
