Job DescriptionAs a Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. This position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and staff that reflects the business objectives of the organization. You will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: talent acquisition; employee relations consultation; policy interpretation and application; performance; compensation management consultation; and talent management consultation.You Will:Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigationsMaintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risk, and ensuring regulatory complianceSupport annual HR cycle deliverables to include performance management; merit and bonus awards; benefits enrollment; etc.Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs, and policiesPartner with Payroll; HRIS; and Compensation and Benefits as neededActively participate in annual budget planning and labor forecasting processesProvide day-to-day performance management guidance such as coaching; counseling; career development; policy interpretations and application; talent management and development; and organizational design consultationDevelop terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers and co-facilitate New Employee Orientation (NEO) programsProvide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planningIdentify training needs for business units and individual coaching needsParticipate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure that training objectives are metThe Ideal Candidate:Experience with labor laws, HR legislative requirements, and legal complianceKnowledge of global HR practices and legal restrictions in a variety of countriesSolid experience with recruiting and hiring, performance management, and employee relationsExperience with program development, organizational development, and health and safety programsPrior work experience in an HR-related field or HR management roleA degree in HR or HR professional designation is preferred but not requiredAdditional InformationATPCO is the foundation of flight shopping, providing pricing and retailing data, tools, and services to 500+ airlines, global distribution systems, sales channels, and technology companies.
