Our business helps support their way of life and contributes to the survival of a culture that has thrived in a challenging environment.Job Summary:This is a non-personal services task order for The Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, Office of the Coordinator of US Assistance to Europe and Eurasia task order to provide one (1) full-time support services for an Information Specialist. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over contractor personnel, who are the service providers performing the services described herein. Such task order service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who in turn is responsible to the Government.Responsibilities:Coordinate with a variety of stakeholders, including US government representatives, non-governmental representatives, donor community representatives, foreign government representatives and audiences, State Department public affairs staff, and the public concerning the role of foreign assistance to the region and the role of ACE.Draft a wide array of materials for a variety of audiences concerning the role, goals, success, and challenges of US foreign assistance to Europe, Eurasia, and Central Asia.Utilize a variety of platforms, including the Department's intranet and internet, SharePoint, newsletters, and social media to disseminate information about foreign assistance to Europe, Eurasia, and Central Asia to key stakeholders.Oversee the development and execution of special programs and events for targeted audiences to disseminate information about foreign assistance to Europe, Eurasia, and Central Asia.Provide advice on information sharing.Draft informational materials.Manage special events such as briefings, conferences, and public meetings for a variety of stakeholders regarding US foreign policy as directed by ACE executive leadership.Produce, research, and formulate official responses written and verbal requests as directed by ACE's executive leadership.Manage and execute all information projects, task and deliverables as directed by ACE executive leadershipEvaluate implementation of significant communications and policy changes with appropriate staff and senior management as necessary.Develop, update, or streamline templates, processes, and guidance. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Active secret clearanceBachelor's degree and one year of experience.Experience in production, communication, and dissemination of information and ideas to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.Experience in communication programs and policies.Hands-on knowledge on Microsoft office, cloud-based applications, Office 365, and SharePoint.Understanding of social media platforms.Understanding of US foreign policy goals and objectives in the region.Excellent writing, speaking, and research skills to produce independently prepared, authoritative documents under tight deadlines for consideration by senior managers in the Department.Knowledge of public affairs and the ability to provide advice on information sharing.Ability to draft informational materials for government personnel approval.Skill in developing special events such as briefings, conferences, and public meetings for a variety of stakeholders regarding US foreign policy.Ability to produce, research, and formulate official responses for written and verbal requests as directed by ACE's executive leadership.Ability to manage and execute all information projects, tasks and deliverables as directed by ACE executive leadership.Ability to evaluate implementation of significant communications and policy changes with appropriate staff and senior management as necessary.Ability to work with subject matter experts to develop, update, or streamline communications templates, processes, and guidance.The duties and responsibilities listed in this job description generally cover the nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
