We pride ourselves in attracting the most motivated, courteous, and knowledgeable staff to provide the best experience to our customers.Specific Duties: Our technicians work closely with residents and supervisors at multi-family housing to tackle pest problems and put our customer's mind at ease. As a pest control technician, you will identify pest problems and recommend pest control programs using your expertise and the latest in pest control technology. You will communicate procedures, sanitation and structural corrections with residents and management supervisors all while providing the highest-level quality of service. This role will also have a commission sales goal that will contribute to our overall growth in the region.Essential duties and responsibilities:Inspect and treat for pests, pest harborage, and pest entriesFollow all safety procedures and instructions throughout every step of the processEffectively communicate all customer service related issues to headquartersTravel to residences and apartment complexes and inspect for pestsBuild and maintain customer relationshipsMaintain your vehicle and all equipment at a high standard of cleanliness and maintenanceComplete all paperwork accurately and timelyRespond to customer and client requests in a timely mannerMaintain high service standards at all timesTake personal initiative and responsibility for correcting pest problemsSuggest and sell services that meet customer needsVirtually join meetings and account reviews when scheduled Complete ongoing independent and group trainingQualificationsRequired to have the following active pest control licenses: 7A, 7B and 7DRequired to reside within 15 miles of downtown Baltimore. 6 years of driving experience with a clean driving record.Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and Criminal Background check.Can provide a safe parking spot for the company vehicle that will be assigned to you.Willing to participate in regular in-house workshops to improve your skills and learn new methods and techniques.Comfortable working with insects and various animals in a variety of environmental conditions and confined spaces.Successful at working independently and as part of a team.Effectively communicate with customers, peers and leadership team.Qualities desired:Ability to always present yourself as an outstanding professional.Consistently reliable and punctual for all work assignments.Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.Education and /or experience:High School diploma or General Education Degree.Physical demands:Reasonable accommodations may be made to accommodate individuals with disabilities.Ability to perform the physical requirements of this role including standing, walking, climbing, lifting, bending, reaching, crawling, squatting and moving around.Able to lift 50 pounds and more.BenefitsHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceLife InsuranceSick and Paid Time Off401K 10 Paid Holidays Off (Including Your Birthday)Community Involvement
