**Talent Management & Human Resources Business Partner Development and Alumni Relations -** The Fund for Johns Hopkins Medicine (FJHM)**General Description**The Talent Management & Human Resources Business Partner is the lead Talent Management professional for The Fund for Johns Hopkins Medicine (FJHM). This group currently includes approximately 180 employees including team members at our four partner hospitals, and represents over half of the Johns Hopkins University's annual fundraising targets.This role will report to the Executive Director of Talent Management & Human Resources for Development & Alumni Relations (DAR) Division. In this role, you will directly provide the strategic and operational Talent Management & HR needs for The Fund for Johns Hopkins Medicine (FJHM). This role will be a trusted strategic partner who works autonomously with senior leaders, managers, and staff within The Fund for Johns Hopkins Medicine (FJHM).**Primary Duties and Responsibilities _Talent Management_**+ Works with DAR leaders for assigned organizations on job and organization design, job Develop and oversee a full cycle talent management program for FJHM employees that contributes to FJHM achieving its comprehensive fundraising goals.+ Partner with DAR Talent Acquisition team develop a FJHM Talent Acquisition strategies to attract and recruiting talent within and outside of the Fund for Johns Hopkins Medicine. This also includes supporting the operational aspects of FJHM candidate identification and recruitment including:+ Prepare strategic interview questions for all steps in the process, with hiring manager input.+ Participate, when appropriate, in candidate interviews with hiring managers.+ Evaluate the effectiveness of appropriate candidate identification and measure quality of hires.+ Partner with DAR Talent Acquisition to ensure that the FJHM applicant and candidate experience is aligned with our mission and values.+ Partners with DAR HR colleagues including talent acquisition and learning and development teams to provide an effective program and positive new employee experience that ensures that the candidate to employee experience is smooth and seamless from hire to successful position acclimation.+ Partner with the FJHM Senior Management Team in the identification of FJHM employee engagement strategies and all diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging efforts.+ Data and Metrics -Collects, analyzes, and reports relevant FJHM human resources data and uses metrics to evaluate performance and evaluate contributions to the achievement of the organization's goals and objectives.**_Employee Relations_**+ Partners with senior leaders and managers to recommend and implement workplace practices that foster a high level of employee engagement and performance.+ Serves as a knowledgeable advisor to managers and employees in the development, communication, interpretation, and application of HR programs, policies, and practices.+ Creates and sustains a positive work environment by promoting and demonstrating employee relations practices that appropriately balance organizational and individual needs.+ Works with managers and employees to effectively resolve a range of workplace issues. Effectively triages situations, understands the range of possible responses, and selects appropriate ones. **_Additional HR Responsibilities_**+ Compensation - Partners with the university's Compensation group to administer compensation programs within FJHM and ensure compliance with established policy and practice.+ Talent development - Partners with Executive Director and others to develop, administer, and evaluate talent review, succession planning, and talent development processes.+ Works with managers and employees to effectively resolve a range of workplace issues. Effectively triages situations, understands the range of possible responses, and selects appropriate ones.**Required Qualifications**+ Bachelor's degree required, with a concentration in human resources, business administration, or related field required. Eight years of progressive experience in human resources also required. Master's degree preferred.
