Responsible for tablet press assembly, setup and operation. This requirement will further extend to the following technologies: Assure product complies with its specifications and and SOP's to guarantee on time, high quality product at a low cost. BENEFITS & PERKS * Medical, Dental, Vision and more * 401k + Employer Contribution * PTO * Regular recognition and rewards WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING + Operates, monitors, and feeds equipment to manufacture pharmaceutical solid dosage product following product specifications and SOPs + Tableting and Granulation (wet and dry granulations) + Responsible to perform changeover & set-ups to all process equipment + Performs troubleshooting of defective manufacturing equipment indicating parts to be replaced and/or to be repaired. + Perform physical testing, product inspection, packaging, and general support of the manufacturing operation. + Perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, repairs to equipment, set-up and daily checks to support the manufacturing operation. + Cleans and sanitizes rooms) and process equipment according to standard operating procedures. WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO AKINA EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS + Technical degree or Associate degree in a technical field + 2 years of experience in mechanical, electronic, instrumental work in the industry + Experience preferred in manufacturing, production, machine operator or technician, batch records, Tablets, tablet compression, solid dosage, powder, sachets, pouches, SOPs, GMP and FDA. + Operation excellence certification (yellow belt, green belt, lean or six sigma) is a plus + Certification by pharmaceutical equipment manufacturer (Fette, GEA, Glatt, Thomas Engineering, Bosch, Alexanderwerks) is a plus + Excellent Mathematical Skills + Strong knowledge in the installation, repairs and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and computerized equipment. + Mechanical Skills and a strong knowledge in the installation, repairs and troubleshooting of mechanical, electronic, and computerized equipment + Basic understanding of Process Equipment set-up and able to perform it repeatedly and according to SOPs. + Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and provide resolutions using appropriate problem solving methodology. + Ability to work with minimum supervision. + Ability to apply critical thinking to resolve complex issues.
