TS/SCI with polygraphThe Candidate team shall be responsible for providing an Agile Team of Systems and Software Engineers to support the Clients existing opening based Teams to support Containerized Deployment on the Clients INT-B Container Platform based on IBM/Redhats OpenShift Technology. In addition, this Agile team includes duties of providing team leadership in the form of a Scrum Master and that of an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE).Background:The Client runs a portfolio of COTS products which together make up the Sponsors partners and the Sponsors Access Control Services. These services have historically leveraged an Enterprise Operating System Platform, known as the Common Linux Server Environment (CLSE) to provide a consistent and common base of security controls and operating platform. Business requirements are driving the Clients need to deploy their services in environments which CLSE does not deploy support, and the cost of modifying and maintaining installation procedures for multiple Operating Systems has become untenable.The Client is seeking Candidate support to initiate the transition from CLSE based, automated deployment procedures to Container based solutions, which will run on a Government provided INT-B Container solution based on OpenShift and other Client provided Kubernetes and Docker compliant container engines platforms.The Candidate shall possess experience with Container Technology, INT-B Security Requirements and DevOps. Deliveries must work on the INT-B OpenShift Platform. The Candidate shall provide a team with an appropriate level of DevOps, OpenShift, and current baseline knowledge of Container Technology, allowing candidates to immediately support this engagement upon award.Work Requirement:The Candidate shall provide an Agile Program Leader (PM, Scrum Master, etc.) referred herein as PM or The PM.. The PM will report directly to the Clients Technical Director with coordination to the Offices Technical Director.The PM will lead one (1) or more contractor teams of DevOps/Container Experts, which will meet with an existing Client project team and perform the following phases (this is an outcome based approach): The Candidate shall provide requirements analysis, meet with the tool production teams (Owning Team), and understand each teams build process, installation scripts and procedures. The Candidate shall perform an analysis of the LOE required to containerize the solution. The Candidate shall obtain plan approval from Client management. Once approved, the Candidate shall execute Containerization activities demonstrated by deployment on Client Provided OpenShift Platform and on CLSE Docker Engine. The Candidate shall provide documentation, training and transition activities for the containerization and transition back to the tool production teams. The Candidate team shall have an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to update security relevant documentation.
