Kforce has a client in Reston, VA that is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant.Duties: * Senior Revenue Accountant will be responsible for reviewing contracts * Managing the project accounting * Assisting in ensuring controls are properly documented * As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will be identifying and implementing improvements * Changing the contracts and recommending appropriate actions or procedures * Performing monthly financial and ad hoc analyses to monitor the contracts performance * Senior Revenue Accountant will be supporting the quarterly reviews and annual audit * Assisting with month end financial close assignments * Bachelor's degree, with emphasis in accounting * CPA certification preferred * Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience * Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills * Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced environment * Proficient in all applications of the Microsoft Office suite * Knowledge of revenue recognition, preferably ASC 605 and ASC 606, or aptitude to read accounting guidance and learn Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
