The functional capabilities are to provide the information technology (IT) infrastructure services required to deliver timely, relevant, and accurate support of national security. TCS will provide innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of transport and cybersecurity IT services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide to support the NGA mission.What You'll Get to Do:CACI is looking for a Network Administrator II to provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT networks. This position will provide support for IT networks including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the network architecture and devices. (SPRINGFIELD, VA work site)More about your role:Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problemProvide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customersProvide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution processIsolate and resolve of hardware and software problems involving the applications, the operating system, the hardware, the communications infrastructure, or any combination thereofTroubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performanceIntegrate new technologies into new and existing systems including the transition and migration of corporate systems.Supports hardware infrastructure site surveys, planning, and design.Provide transition planning and support services that accelerate delivery timelines, reduce operational risk and ensure service continuity during transition.Provide transition planning and support for the migration of existing services between environments (migration to Cloud environments), migration of users from existing service platforms to new service offerings and transition of services into operationsProvides guidance to lower level technicians and specialistsWorks individually and actively participates on integrated teamsUnderstands and applies more advanced concepts and processes to daily activities.Assists more senior level technicians, specialists, and managers in their activities.
