Kforce has a client that is seeking an HR Generalist in Owing Mills, MD.Responsibilities of the HR Generalist: * HR Generalist contributes to the selection and management of and negotiation with vendors, in collaboration with the vendor management function * May interact with vendors directly to gather information or assist with issue * May support more senior professionals by reviewing and analyzing benefits data * Provides support to HR Managers, Human Resources business partners and employees on benefits questions, issues, and claims escalated through more junior team members * Issues and claims handled are moderately complex and require nonstandard * HR Generalist forecasts and plans for assigned benefits projects * Addresses administrative issues, identifying root cause, and determines when to escalate issues to more senior professionals * May make tactical recommendations based on expected results, desired outcomes, and success measures * With guidance, may manage medium to large scale projects that requires a standard solution, including establishing a project plan, coordinating, and managing resources, forecasting, and monitoring project budget, etc. * HR Generalist conducts research on benefits programs and gathers competitive intelligence to contribute to the development and implementation of best-in-class programs that align with business needs * Monitors benefits programs and offerings to ensure they align with Total Rewards philosophy and global governance strategy and are culturally/market relevant * Supports implementation of wellness activities focused on the long-term health and well-being of employees * Promotes and champions wellness * With minimal guidance, implements strategic benefits plan in partnership with more senior * Supports new benefits technology program implementations in partnership with information technology * Direct HR experience * Benefits experience especially with Leave experience; This team handles everything with Leave of absence accommodations, requests, inquires, and conducting in take calls * General consultative skills; Having sensitive discussions with people, manager support, and talking with the legal team in some cases Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
