Description Mackin Talent is seeking a Construction Project Manager to support our client in Reston who will be responsible for construction execution in all leased properties. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Ownership of the construction scope for Non-Standard Infrastructure projects within the leased portfolio, inclusive of retrofits of existing data halls and build outs of new spaces within a leased building, across three different regions.Owns and manages the development of the Construction Execution Plan (CEP) and ensures it is aligned with the Project Execution Plan (PEP)Provides coordination between contractors, and LandlordsProvide construction leadership at the site by developing and maintaining strong relationships with our cross functional partners, consultants, vendors, and contractors.Identify, define, and gain cross functional alignment around opportunities to drive efficiency through innovation, process, and accountability.Provide project planning and scoping by working with cross functional partners and internal customers to identify, sequence and package work scopes for execution.Aid in the creation and maintenance of project schedules with support from Project Controls.Manage relationships with the contractor, and designer.Provide project management of internal project delivery process to include procurement, scheduling, and internal communication and coordination.Provide cost saving solutions and negotiate contractor change orders.Assist with developing capital project budgets and provide ROM construction cost estimates.Manage monthly CapEx forecasting for all project related costs.Provide analysis and action plan based on weekly project status report (financial, schedule, Q/C).Manage Method of Procedures (MOPs) for any retrofit/remedy work in live data center.Facilitates interaction between contractor's and Facebook QA/QC team/ vendors.Approximately 15% travel to other sites.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience directly related to the design or construction of data centers/critical infrastructure, specifically within leased facilities.Ability to manage multiple projects at a time in different phases.Experience in commissioning of retrofit and new leased data center build outs.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree and/or minimum of seven(7) to ten (10) years professional experience in any combination of construction, operations, maintenance, and project planning..Knowledge of CPM scheduling practices and familiarity with Primavera P6 software.Functional in MS Office products (eg Word, Excel, and PowerPoint etc.).Mackin Talent offers an attractive benefits package which includes choice of major medical carriers like Aetna, Kaiser and BCBS, 15 days of PTO plus Holiday and Sick pay, paid volunteer hours, paternity/maternity leave and many more.
