Those areas of responsibility may include the following: This position will be reporting to our Tyson's office with the ability for remote work. Assisting with a contract review process and repository Manage subpoena responses Organizing and managing documents, including the creation of spreadsheets and retrieval systems Serve as the administrator for the company's electronic billing system (LegalTracker) Coordinating the collection, review and production of documents and responding to discovery requests File and maintain legal documents Track matters and deadlines for the Law Department Collaborate with and provide information to other departments Work with Risk Department to obtain and supply Certificates of Insurance Compiling information and, preparing statistics, charts, graphs and other summaries to detail the findings Maintain legal share drives (TEAMS, sharepoint) Other administrative and paralegal tasks as assigned Paralegal Qualifications and Skills: Excellent organization skills Attention to detail. Ability to maintain and protect confidentiality of company legal and financial information Legal research and investigation skills Ability to follow direction and procedures Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to prioritize workload and assignments Education and Experience Requirements: 3-5 years of significant and substantive experience as a paralegal/legal assistant in a law firm or corporate setting Experience drafting, reviewing and correcting legal documents. Experience managing small to medium document productions (including knowledge with bates numbering, redacting personal and confidential information) Working knowledge and competency with case management or contracts management software Proficient with Microsoft Word, and Excel, Experience using Microsoft Sharepoint and TEAMS for develop work flows for document reviews and approvals, managing files, and working collaboratively with others. Working knowledge and competency with online legal billing platforms, to include Legal Tracker Abilities: Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time. Sitting for extended periods of time. Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction. Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard. Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
