The Collaboration, Advocacy, Resilience and Empowerment grant initiative is currently seeking a **_Site Project Coordinator_** (Student Career Counselor (SCC)). The SCC will be assigned to grant school sites in Baltimore City Public School, Maryland and will assist the Project Directors with the overall coordination of project activities, employee selection, supervision, the evaluation process, data input and writing reports. Note: This position is eligible for benefits.**Specific Duties & Responsibilities:**The SCC will facilitate the collaborative planning and execution of activities, interventions, and retention/recruitment strategies. Grant objectives include:+ CARE Orientations+ Life Skills/Self-Regulated Behaviors, Trauma Informed Support/Goal Setting+ Summer Bridge Programs+ Facilitate and support Professional Development+ Small Groups and Individual Sessions+ Parent Engagement+ Field Trips to Colleges & STEM enrichment tours+ Staffing and supervision of CARE team staff**Minimum Qualifications (Mandatory):**+ Master's Degree and three years related experience required**Preferred Qualifications:**+ Master's Degree in School Counseling preferred**Special Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:**+ Serve as a liaison between the Project Director and Baltimore City grant school site.+ Build positive relationships with students/families and other school staff to promote a self-regulated behaviors and a college going culture.+ Encourage each student to develop positive academic behaviors and life skills built on a foundation of awareness, self-efficacy, self-advocacy, and resilience.+ Help fostering collaboration with parents and school staff through frequent communication and meaningful engagement.+ Facilitate professional development and training for school counselors, school staff, parents, and students to promote a broad range of appropriate college choices and/or career pathways. Provide trauma-informed support that helps students move forward toward college and career preparation despite everyday obstacles and hassles.+ Establish and maintain a strong CARE team equipped to effectively support student success throughout the school year.+ Oversee staffing and supervision of CARE team staff in support of Project Director and CARE initiatives.+ Demonstrate enthusiasm for college and career readiness as well as the CARE initiatives. This may include documentation of having two (2) MMR vaccines; two (2) Varicella vaccines; or antibody status to these diseases from laboratory testing.
