Rowe Price Controller's Group and oversees all administrative revenue accounting and certain invoicing activities related to client fee arrangements of varying complexity. In addition to delivering excellence in our accounting and reporting responsibilities across T. Rowe Price Group and its global subsidiaries and branches, we collaborate with our business partners to ensure delivery of outstanding quality information to our firm's clients, global regulatory bodies, and throughout the firm.Role Summary:The Client Fee Invoicing Accountant role is part of the Controllers Group and is responsible for an assigned revenue accounting process for specific subsidiaries and branches of T. Rowe Price Group that are range in size and complexity. This role ensures accurate and timely client fee invoicing to the Retirement Plan Services customers of T. Rowe Price. This role conducts analyses of invoice data and works with the revenue accountants to ensure accuracy in general ledger postings. If so, we encourage you to apply!Responsibilities:- Contributes to end-to-end invoicing processes and research required to transform data into information for reporting purposes. Assists with continuous improvement activities such as the analysis of exceptions; providing support for audits; and completing assigned tasks to support the maintenance of the control environment.- With general mentorship, gathers, reconciles, and analyzes data to produce client invoices and related reporting, provide excellent customer service to our internal and external business partners, and participate and/or lead process improvement and modernization projects.- Helps implement financial system modifications to align with revised billing, reporting, accounting, and accounting process policies, procedures, and more substantial regulatory changes.- Contributes to the identification of reporting of risks, gaps in billing or reporting, patterns, or recurring issues. Ensures accurate controls are implemented and followed for respective areas.- Participates in assignments across lines of business, legal entities, and geographies that have an impact on internal/external reporting, accounting policies, and accounting processes. Assignments may include contributing to new or revised reporting, procedures, and reporting templates in order to provide effective financial planning, billing, accounting, and reporting of financial information.Typical Qualifications for Client Fee Invoicing Specialist (Accountant/KM1 level):- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or related field and 0+ years of total relevant work experienceTypical Qualifications for Sr Client Fee Invoicing Specialist (Sr Accountant/KM2 level):- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or related field and 2+ years of total relevant work experiencePreferred--Financial Service industry experience in supporting institutional and/or intermediary client accounts-Analytical skills and sound judgment; consultative skills-Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational abilities-Works well independently and in a matrixed team environment; ability to work under pressure towards deadlines-Strong Excel skills, including use of Vlookup Function and Pivot TablesRegional Requirement: FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.Job Family: Corporate Financial Accounting and ReportingTrack: Knowledge ManagementLevel: KM1 (Accountant) or KM2 (Sr Accountant)T.
