By combining our expert professional technicians, commercial best practices, extensive facilities knowledge and strong commitment to reliable, responsive service, we enable our government clients to achieve consistently high-performance facilities, on-time projects and long-term value.Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (NARA)KJob Summary: EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Mechanical Engineerl in Washington, DC to provide operations and maintenance support for the National Archives Building in Washington, DC.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Provide technical support in the efficient and safe operation and maintenance of all mechanical equipmentAnalyze equipment specifications, operating data, and system control procedures to make recommendations for the improved operation of the mechanical systemsUse AutoCAD to create new drawings or revise existing drawingsWrite or revise SOP's for mechanical equipment and systems.Select equipment for the replacement or modifications of existing systemsResearch and proposing modifications to improve the operation of the facility;Qualifications:Bachelor's of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from an engineering school with a curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and TechnologyMinimum of five (5) years of on-site experience in the operation and maintenance of a facility of 850k sq feetExperience with HVAC equipmentKnowledge and Experience using Autocadto create new drawings or revise existing drawingsMust fluently speak, read and write the English languageWe offer our employees a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package and are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
