We have an immediate opening for a highly motivated, collaborative and committed individual to fill our Network OPS Technicianposition.POSITION OVERVIEW: The Network OPS Technician will support the client, to carry out a best-in-class service in relation to design, operations and implementation tasks associated with the network. The successful candidate will help develop and understand requirements from internal customers and create technical solutions to improve productivity and services. The candidate must have a strong technical background, be innovative and agile, collaborate well in a team environment, and have very strong written and verbal communication skills - a visionary who challenges the status quo and believes that technologies can level-up productivity.WHAT YOU'LL DO: Configure, install, troubleshoot and maintain network equipment including Cisco routers, switches, wireless controllers and access points Ability to provide technical support through various means of communication Collaborate easily with network engineers and project managers WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Experience with IDFs, Data Centers, and office space Experience with VPNs (DVMRP, GRE, IPSec/SSL VPNs) MAN/WAN - MPLS, SD-WAN Experience Knowledge of support for 802.1x and network segmentation Familiar with patching of CAT6 cabling and Fiber Optic cabling Experience with multiple networking vendors including Cisco, HP, Aruba, Juniper, and Arista including Cisco Nexus configuration and operation Catalyst 9400 platform - configuration and operation Catalyst 4500 platform - configuration and operation Catalyst 9200 platform - configuration and operation Working knowledge of Cisco VPC and practical application for Data Centers Knowledge of process for addressing Security Vulnerabilities Knowledge of process for implementing IOS upgrades Troubleshooting skills PREFERRED: Ability to travel (May be infrequent but candidate must be open to travel when required) Strong attention to detail, and ability to multi-task Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven organizational skills Fluent in spoken & written English preferred Additional Information The EOS Group recognises the responsibilities it has to its customers, suppliers & employees.
