Located in the Beltsville, Maryland area, this Accounting Manager position would be on a full-time basis.Your responsibilities in this role- Assemble various technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses- Provide regular review and analysis of balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant- Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes- Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable- Work closely with FP& A and accounting management to create relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook- Play key role in implementation of NetSuite Financials including system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration- Lead and encourage the full accounting team performance during the closing process to ensure deadlines are met Requirements - CPA or MBA preferred- Recent relevant financial experience- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset- Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable- Solid technology and analytical abilities- Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently- Solid understanding of SOX Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
