Job SummaryThis positions responsible for direct, outside sales of HVAC-related mechanical services, analyze drawings, statements of work and customer requests to prepare detailed time, cost and labor estimates for mechanical repairs, preventive maintenance agreements and equipment installations. We offer an integrated approach to commercial facilities management with a wide range of superior quality, cost-effective and flexible services customized to meet our customer's needs.Essential DutiesDirect sales of the company's services including but not limited to service agreements, service repairs, and equipment retrofit projects.Responsible for researching opportunities to identify work suited to the mechanical teamDevelops relationships with vendors and subcontractors to obtain best price and best value propositionPrepares accurate estimates using company provided software and spreadsheetsResponds to emergency deficiencies provided by technicians and provides timely estimates to solve the deficiencyDevelops cost details for specific project types and change ordersAssesses cost effectiveness of projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as project develops.Reviews material and labor requirements to decide most cost effective methodsConducts site surveys as neededResponsible for initiating and coordination of start-up meetings to transfer sold work to operations staffSchedules the project with the client and coordinates the materials, equipment, subcontractors and labor to successfully complete the project within the estimated time and cost of the proposalKeeps informed of industry information by attending meetings, trade shows, seminars and networking eventsMinimum RequirementsAssociates Degree or Journeyman License or equivalent of education and work experience will also be acceptedMinimum 10 years' experience in the installation and/or service of HVAC EquipmentProject Management experience a plusExcellent computer skills, knowledge, and experience, preferably with Microsoft Office softwareTechnical aptitude, communication skills, and working well with othersPM20
