Description/Job SummaryThe Infrastructure Division of RMF Engineering, Inc. (RMF), a national engineering firm, has an immediate opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer in their Baltimore, Maryland office to support major electrical distribution projects for large campuses located throughout the United States. The qualified individual will be required to perform electrical engineering studies and functions associated with the design and construction support of medium and low voltage systems, power distribution systems and electrical systems for healthcare, laboratories, district energy plants, electrical substations and large electrical infrastructure projects for a variety of customers including universities, pharmaceutical campuses, and healthcare campuses. Duties:Preparation of construction drawings, specifications, calculations, cost estimates,On-site field investigations and construction support activitiesConstruction support activities including attendance at meetings, shop drawing review, responding to RFI's, and general construction support.Power study modeling, calculations, and analysis related to short-circuit, coordination, and arc flash analysis studiesCreation and presentation of technical engineering reports related to power analysisRequirements:Ability to travel will be required.Minimum requirements include a BSEE and 0-2 years of related experience.Power Systems sub-discipline preferredExperience with AutoCAD and/or REVIT is preferred, but not requiredEIT Certificate is preferred, but not required.About RMF Engineering:RMF Engineering is a privately-held company founded in 1983.
