We are hiring for an Electrical / Electronic Engineering Technician (Journeyman) to perform specific elements on the contract listed below. This position will work in the Patuxent River / St. Inigoes, Maryland regionDuties include, but not limited to:+ Applies engineering techniques, principles, and precedents to develop, design, modify, install, test, evaluate, or operate electrical, electronic, avionics, mechanical, communications, or related data processing systems for DoD/IC communication systems, networks, and associated support equipment or components. + Develops, prepares, or applies engineering, technical or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures. + Provides data and inputs to senior team members for reports or presentations of technical data and information.+ Performs tests and evaluations of systems equipment or components.The position is contingent upon candidate's ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; thereby, in accordance with Federal Requirements, medical requirements include but are not limited to full COVID-19 vaccination status by 8 December 2021, except in limited circumstances where a candidate is legally entitled to an accommodation - proof of vaccination is required.Minimum Requirements:Experience:+ 3 years of Direct Experience working as an Electrical / Electronic Engineering Technician with the coordinated Bachelor's Degree detailed below+ At least 1 year of the 3 years of experience must be while performing Electrical / Electronic Engineering Technician functions on DoD/IC communication systems or networks.Education / Certifications:+ Bachelor's Degree in any of the following: Engineering or engineering discipline; Computer science or IT discipline; Technical discipline+ OR + In Lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, 7 total years' of experience working as an Electrical / Electronic Engineering Technician is required WITH an Associate's Degree+ OR + Candidates maintaining NO degree can be considered if they have in total 9 years' of work experience as an Electrical / Electronic Engineering TechnicianClearance:+ TOP SECRET/SCI - CURRENT/ACTIVE (SCI - Eligible)Other Qualifications:+ Must be a US Citizen. #LI-CP1MAG Aerospace (MAG) is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and is committed to Diversity and Inclusion.
