IT Infrastructure Project Manager Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program. Support project management across multiple projects across the VISN. Support planning of projects and mitigate risks associated with software development. Able to articulate best practices as it relates to cost and schedule. Ability to support senior leadership presentations, data calls and interagency collaboration Experience in Construction or Supporting Construction Sites is highly desirable! Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience is required. An additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements Large enterprise network engineer background with a strong understanding of technology stack Able to plan, design, and oversee deployment of complex enterprise-wide or large-scale information architectures including computer hardware and software, operating systems, middleware, communications hardware and software, and security components Knowledge of standards for open systems architectures as they apply to the implementation and specification of complex information management solutions to ensure systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards Able to identify necessary interfaces between enterprise solution applications and legacy IT environments Able to perform business case analysis and identification of alternative solutions and resulting business impacts Accomplished communication and troubleshooting skills Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field is required Preferred Qualifications Experience in the VA or DOD Experience, training, or certifications in IT governance frameworks such as ITIL or CMMI Experience with Electronic Health Records or other Health IT systems Federal consulting experience Experience managing Information Technology (IT) related projects MPS does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender identity or expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status in any of its business activities including recruiting and selection.
