All staff are fully cleared, and the program provides mission critical Enterprise Application Messaging and Authorization Services worldwide. The technical staff develops and supports complex data transport, enterprise audit, authorization, information transport, and enterprise application hosting services. What You'll Get to Do:As a Database Engineer / Administrator, you will be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for Oracle and/or MongoDB database administration working on IC Security Services. Responsibilities will include, but is not limited to:Allocate system storage and plan for future storage requirementsCreate and maintain primary database storage structuresCreate primary database objects (tables, views, indexes) once developers have designed an application and assist developers in the design if requiredModify the database structure, as neededMonitor and optimize the database performancePlan backup and recovery methodologyBackup and restore the database as requiredApply Database updates and patchesMigrate databases to new hardware as requiredWrite PL/SQL stored procedures and triggersWrite and maintain shell scriptsRecommend new architectures, designs, and strategies for the futureYou'll Bring These Qualifications:Bachelors degree in a technical discipline.
