The Administrative Systems Office (ASO) is a matrix organization with two divisions. The Strategic Planning Division is responsible for strategic planning, communication, budget formulation and defining the services for three portfolios: human resources, financial management, and support systems.

Responsibilities
The Systems Execution Division is responsible for developing, operating, and maintaining the products and services that meet customer requirements. This position is located within the Department of Administrative Services (DAS), Administrative Systems Office (ASO) front office.
This position is part of a small budget team that formulates and executes budgets for a number of Information Technology projects that are managed under ASO. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:Formulating budgets to include estimating budgets for complex projects over multiple years; Executing budgets to include preparation of financial and acquisition plans and tracking funds as the fiscal year progresses; Financial reporting to include spending plans and status reports for portfolio managers and office managers; Managing administrative functions of multiple contracts to include onboarding resources, modifying contracts, paying invoices, and obligating funds; Supporting and consulting with portfolio and project managers on funding options and managing budgetary resources; Coordinating with various organizations within the Administrative Office (AO) to complete work activities to include procurement, finance, budget, and technology staffs; Communicating orally and in writing, including using spreadsheet applications to analyze and organize data; Performing other financial-related duties as assigned.

You will be required to serve a trial period if selected for a first-time appointment to the Federal government, transferring from another Federal agency, or serving as a first-time supervisor. Failure to successfully complete the trial period may result in termination of employment. If appointed to a temporary position, management may have the discretion of converting the position to permanent depending upon funding and staffing allocation.
Qualifications
Applicants must have demonstrated experience as listed below. This requirement is according to the AO Classification, Compensation, and Recruitment Systems which include interpretive guidance and reference to the OPM Operating Manual for Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions.
Specialized Experience : Applicants must have at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience which is in or directly related to the line of work of this position. Specialized experience is demonstrated knowledge of federal and/or judiciary budget processes and procedures and demonstrated experience formulating, executing, and evaluating complex budget programs.
Education
This position does not require education to qualify.
