Starting Salary $32,260.80 The Building Maintenance Technician performs under the direction of the Utilities Department. The primary function of this position is to provide diversified building maintenance and repair. Initiates and assists with remodeling, room renovation projects, janitorial and custodial care, grounds keeping, housekeeping, and maintenance for buildings and grounds. Duties include but are not limited to: * Following and maintaining structured cleaning schedule * Minor repairs in areas of carpentry, painting, refinishing, plumbing, light bulbs and tubes. * Perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, buffing, and polishing of flooring. * Sidewalk sweeping, cleaning and raking of planters, flower beds, grass mowing, weed trimming/edging and general grounds maintenance.
