We are looking for collaborative, passionate Sr. HR Business Partner to provide full cycle human resources support to assigned business groups at Total Wine & More's Store Support Center. You will have both a strategic and hands on role including improving organizational effectiveness & design, leading change management, providing leadership coaching, driving employee engagement and HR functional excellence. You will report to the Vice President Human Resources and be a valued member of the HR leadership team. This role is located in our Store Support Center in Bethesda, MD.You Will: Talent ManagementAdvise and create change management plans in partnership with the businessPartner with the business on organizational design, workforce planning, and skills assessment and developmentFacilitate departmental Talent Reviews and ensure there is an effective Succession Plan strategy in place for all key positionsProvide coaching and counseling for corporate Business Partners and Team Members to resolve internal employee relations issues fairly representing all interestsPlay an active role with business partners in managing Team Member performanceConduct HR training that includes both soft skills development and operations skills trainingFacilitate department calibrations in support of the annual Performance Management Cycle focusing on reviews, individual development planning, and compensationAssess, create and implement innovative solutions for a variety of employee engagement initiatives within the client groupContributes and participates in the development, ongoing improvement, and implementation of Human Resources strategies, policies, procedures and processesTalent AcquisitionSuccessfully establish and grow relationships with corporate partnersAssist in creatively marketing positions and attending job fairsSet the standard for high quality talent acquisition and train corporate partners on successful recruitment methodsRetention & RewardsConduct stay and exit interviews, identify insights, and share recommendations with leaders in assigned departments for improvementIdentify retention risks and recommendations for retention and engagement strategiesCoach and mentor members of management relating to retention and reward strategies You'll bring: Minimum Experience, Skills and Education:7+ years of HR Generalist supporting large, diverse teams5+ years Employee Relations experience, including managing high risk issues4-year degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related fieldAbility to deal successfully with complexities of a rapidly expanding organizationWorking knowledge of all federal, state and local employment lawPreferred Experience, Skills and Education:Master's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field is preferred.HR certification is a plus, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, and/or GPHRRetail experience a plus About Total Wine & MoreTotal Wine & More is America"A< oes Wine SuperstoreA' (R)"A cents € the country"A< oes largest independent retailer of fine wine.
