Overview:Atlas Research, a CVP Company, is seeking a Senior Manager with experience working with federal agencies as a leader in large transformation initiatives as a Program Manager. The ideal candidates will have experience working with federal clients, such as the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, as a delivery leader to implement high visibility, enterprise-level initiatives. Experience reviewing transactions, practices, and policies/procedures for compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and federal regulations related to grants and financial management is required.Atlas Research is seeking an experienced Management Consulting Leader adept at managing large programs focused on Innovation and Transformation within the Federal Health Sector. The Senior Manager will work with the Atlas Team and federal healthcare clients to develop integrated program plans, and execute on delivery of programs that span capability areas. The Senior Manager will provide delivery leadership, client relationship management, and financial management expertise to the team. The Senior Manager will work with partner firms to ensure that capabilities of partners are effectively integrated into delivery teams, and that all partners and subcontractors deliver quality work products to meet contract objectives. The Senior Manager will coordinate the planning and production of all contract support activities and hold responsibility for staffing, project planning, and staff direction and oversight. The Senior Manager will maintain and manage the client interface at the Program Manager and Contractor Officer Representative levels of the client organization and serve a leader within the Service Line for ensuring exceptional contract performance.Responsibilities:Working with clients to develop a strategy and roadmap for both pre-award (eg, financial capability reviews) and post-award (eg, compliance) activitiesResearching and interpreting accounting standards such as the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) and Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Standards and Guidance to provide implementation recommendations to federal clients and their federal award recipientsResearching and interpreting grants management regulations such as the 2 CFR 200 Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards to provide implementation recommendations to federal clients and their federal award recipientsAnalyzing financial reports in government systems (eg, cash drawdowns) against federal award recipient accounting records to determine discrepancies and potential cash on handAnalyzing financial data to determine improper payments and recommend mitigation strategiesAnalyzing federal award recipient audit reports to understand the findings and recommend audit resolution strategiesPreparing accounting/financial-related training materials for federal clients and their federal award recipientsCreating business requirements/use cases regarding accounting/financial processes for new/updated systemsManaging project teams, serving as a Career Manager to staff, and managing project financialsAnticipating client/project needs and developing alternative solutionsDeveloping, maintaining, and managing senior client relationshipsManaging delivery quality for cross functional delivery teamsEnsuring that deliverables are submitted on-timeQualifications:Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in good standingDemonstrated experience leading teams12+ years of professional experience10+ years of professional experience in the federal government consulting industryAble to thrive in a deadline-driven environmentDetail oriented with the ability to multi-task across multiple areasProven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgement, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesStrong customer relationship management skillsAdvanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointExcellent communication skills and professional writing skillsAbility to obtain a US Security Public Trust ClearanceDesired SkillsProject Management Professional (PMP) CertificationExperience and knowledge of consulting methodologies such as process improvement, change management, and project managementVA federal market experienceAbout Atlas Research, a CVP CompanyHere at Atlas we value our Veterans and encourage all to apply!At Atlas Research, a CVP Company, we are dedicated to improving people's lives by tackling the complex challenges and opportunities facing the federal government and their customers.
