Thompson Washington DCA collection of weathered wood, glass, and dark grey brick rising from the historic Navy Yard, Thompson Washington DC stands at the intersection of nautical history and industrial sophistication.PositionThe Controller supervises and directs the financial activities of the hotel including AP, AR, credit and collections, payroll, cash management, internal controls, auditing, general ledger, financial statements, taxes, and budgeting. The Controller safeguards the assets and prepares all financial reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Qualified candidate must be able to implement and monitor internal controls, be familiar with all aspects of accounting department (night audit, accounts receivable/payable, general cashier and payroll), prepare budgets and forecasts, must be computer literate and have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
