Responsibilities The DoD Financial Management Analyst supports Audit Response and Sustainment and includes: Documenting and updating standard operating procedures and process narratives Preparing and executing tests of internal controls over financial reporting and financial systems Assessing service provider System and Organization (SOC) reports Implementing complementary user entity controls (CUECs) Developing and facilitating the implementation of corrective action plans Qualifications Required Clearance Active SECRET clearance Minimum Education/Certification Bachelors degree in the field(s) of Business, Accounting Professional Experience 5 years of experience in financial statement audit and accounting - MUST have some financial statement audit experience Desired Experience in DoD financial management, DoD Program, Planning, Budget and Execution (PPBE) DESIRED certifications: Certified Public Accountant; Certified Defense Financial Manager, Certified Government Financial Manager; DoD Financial Management Certification Additional Requirements The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
