Learn more about our work at civilrightscorps.org . About the Role Civil Rights Corps seeks an experienced and passionate individual to join the organizational leadership team. The Chief Executive Officer will be experienced in driving programmatic growth and excellence, collaborating with peers and teams across an organization and will have exhibited a commitment to the mission and values of CRC. The CEO will manage the existing policy and communications functions, with the potential for taking on more direct staff supervision, and own a range of organizational and strategic priority functions. The CEO will be part of the four-person CRC Leadership Team currently consisting of the Executive Director, Chief Operating Officer, and Director of Litigation. The CEO will report directly to CRC's Board of Directors. The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for work in these key areas: External Partnership Development Serve as public face and voice of CRC within the movement and in media Based on organizational priorities, build partnerships across movement space to inform and advance CRC's work. Manage unique re-granting program. Organizational Leadership Ensure that CRC executes on its strategic vision and organizational goals in designated areas. Continue to develop the organization's strategic vision in collaboration with the leadership team. Lead internal work on strengthening organizational culture and work processes. Work closely with COO to design processes for setting organizational strategy, goals and evaluation processes. Work with ED/Founder and COO on fundraising. Take on other important strategic work that the new CEO will design and develop. Day-to-day Management Manage Director of Storytelling and Director of Policy. Coordinate programmatic functions with operational functions through close partnership with COO. Provide support on management/professional development/mentoring to management staff.
