We are seeking a part-time mental health worker to provide Companion Care and skills-building services to an individual living with a serious mental illness in her family's home in Fairfax County . This position is part-time hours (24 hours/week); M-F; 3-4 days/week; and is benefits-eligible. Clinical experience in this position will count towards experience to become a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). DUTIES INCLUDE Skills teaching, crisis intervention, and role modeling appropriate social behavior to support the individual with community integration skills. QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in psychology, social work, or related human services field preferred or LPN with related experience. Students in graduate programs will be considered. Qualified Mental Health Professional preferred, but not required. Ability to work well independently; be a self-starter, dependable, demonstrated problem-solving and organizational skills.
