I am assisting a Chambers ranked practice with an *unposted* search for a Privacy Associate. A successful candidate will meet one or more of the following criteria:* Demonstrated interest and experience in practicing privacy law, including advising on US laws at the federal and state level (interest and experience with international frameworks, such as the EU's GDR, is a bonus).* Experience developing/deploying a privacy compliance program, particularly as related to legal assessment of risks associated with such programs.* Experience drafting memoranda analyzing complex privacy questions raising issues under multiple legal frameworks.* Experience conducting privacy diligence for transactions and negotiating contracts/data processing addenda between commercial parties.* Experience drafting and revising policies and disclosures relating to privacy/data use in various contexts.* Experience responding to regulatory investigations relating to privacy/data use.The ideal candidate will be a mid-level associate with 2-4 years of experience.
