This client is working remote at present, but that will change in October when this company transitions back to their offices in October. This client will have more info about working remote when the time comes for the transition. This Staff Accountant position is newly created due to growth. Position: Very good opportunity for professional development and growth. There is a lot of interaction with others as well as responsibilities that are a diversified mix of hands on day to day accounting operations to financial planning and analysis responsibilities. This person will have responsibility for maintaining financial procedures and confirming financial compliance through timely and accurate preparation of financial reporting. Preferred experience: This position requires a candidate to have a degree in Accounting or a related discipline who has 1- 3 years of accounting operations experience that is AP, AR (including billing) journal entry GL/month end close oriented with additional financial planning and analysis responsibilities such as performing monthly P&L analysis for each contract assigned to this position as well as preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports for Executive Management and clients. Good Excel skills are also necessary. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Solomon and or Peoplesoft are pluses.
