Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, is seeking a highly qualified associate with a minimum of four years of regulatory and transactional experience to join our nationally recognized health care practice. We are looking for candidates who have a strong interest in and enthusiasm for health care issues and trends. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience in health care regulatory compliance and fraud and abuse matters, including with the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Stark Law, and reimbursement and coverage rules under Medicare and Medicaid. Our health care practice is uniquely multidisciplinary, bringing a wide range of legal, policy, advocacy and strategic advisory skills to our clients' transactions. Our health care transactions and regulatory team assists with the structuring and negotiation of transactions, provides strategic advice on regulatory and compliance issues, implements a variety of contractual arrangements, and counsels clients on the full range of legal issues affecting the health care industry. We serve a wide range of clients that includes hospitals and health systems, long-term and post-acute care providers, health centers, managed care plans and insurers, life sciences companies, medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers, pharmacy chains, nursing homes, regional health information organizations, telehealth and digital health companies, other health care technology providers, and a variety of health care industry vendors. Requirements Minimum of four years of health care regulatory and transactional experience, with a particular focus on health care provider and health plan issues Strong interest in and enthusiasm for health care issues and trends Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail; excellent legal research and analytical skills Effective and efficient problem-solving capabilities with the ability to work independently and proactively, and to develop creative solutions to meet client and team needs Bar membership in good standing in the jurisdiction in which you plan to practice Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion Fostering diversity, equity and inclusion is a Manatt core value and fundamental to our organizational identity.
