An essential aspect of this grant initiative is to oversee and provide logistical support for peer group gatherings and mentors through Zoom. At this stage in the grant cycle, the PA will primarily need to provide logistical support for an in-person gathering in January 2022, maintain accurate record keeping of revenue and expenditures and update the program website.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSProvide administrative, logistical, and process support to Principal Investigator (PI) and the Program Director (PD) to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the grant initiative.Coordinate travel and lodging for the Thriving in Ministry Gathering in January 2022 for 70+ program participants.Provide logistical administrative support for participants.Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with the Seminary and Lilly Endowment, Inc. processes and requirements.Maintain participation records, contact lists, recruitment information, and other data necessary to quantify the outcomes of the program.Regularly update content on the Thriving in Ministry website (WordPress).Communicate program findings and special events via website, social media, and Seminary Communications Office.Oversee and provide logistical support for Peer Learning Community gatherings, including through Zoom.Provide logistical administrative support in recruiting and enrolling participants and leaders.Compile and retain input and feedback from constituencies.Provide administrative support and final document preparation to PD to ensure timely submission of reports to the Lilly Endowment and the Seminary Trustees.Assist with the admissions and onboarding process for Peer Learning Community members and mentors.Attend Lifelong Learning Department meetings.Attend monthly Lilly program meetings via Zoom.Attend quarterly staff meetings at the Seminary.POSITION QUALIFICATIONSCompetencies:Ability to handle multiple, complex activities simultaneously in a decentralized environment.Experience and facility in planning and overseeing complex events and gatherings.Self-directed and self-motivated.Capable of reading, understanding and employing the nuances of communication in different contexts and modes (in-person, online, etc.).Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to establish, maintain and strengthen connections with individuals and organizations.SKILLS & ABILITIESEducation:Bachelor's degree preferred.Experience:Preferred familiarity with The Episcopal ChurchComfortable relating to and working with clergy.Administrative and Technological Skills:Demonstrated knowledge of Excel and financial reporting.Competency with social media and WordPress content updatesFacility with Zoom.Excellent organizational skills and ability to work to established objectives and priorities to achieve goals.Excellent oral and written communication skills, including editing and proofreading.PHYSICAL DEMANDSMust be able and comfortable sitting for long stretches of time and lifting up to 10 lbs.Must be able to walk the stairs to and from the office on the second-floor office building.WORK ENVIRONMENTWork is performed primarily in an office at a desk.
