Job Description The Help Desk Analyst will be responsible for providing technical support to end users, installing and maintaining microcomputer hardware and software.They install, upgrade and configure desktop computers, desktop applications, network connectivity, and remote connectivity. Hours: Monday-Friday (flexibility is available on days for 40hr-week/12-hour shift) Essential Functions Provides network and desktop technical support to approximately 200 users. Remain current on developments in microcomputer desktop and network hardware/software offerings. Monitor nightly status of backups, addition of users, deletion of users, departments, problem areas, usage statistics, etc. Provide assistance to team members where needed. Assist System Administrator with server and networking support duties. Resolving technical problems in a call center/help desk environment. Setting up new computer hardware and software for users. Training users in use of application software. Maintain hardware/software inventory and problem log. Perform functions related to maintaining and improving the desktop operating environment. Manage and is 'hands on' with MS Outlook 'cloud', Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), and MS-SQL. Create and maintain appropriate documentation. Requirements: 2-4 years of IT experience with 1-2 years of professional experience as a PC support analyst. Microsoft or other industry certifications are a plus. Active Secret Clearance Required. Experience setting up, deploying and testing PC's and laptops, including thin clients. Experience working with Active Directory, Group Policy, etc. Powered by JazzHR KOU2Axv59q
