Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Windows Administrator to join a team responsible for the administration of multiple Windows server environments running on VMware and Microsoft Azure. This position will also help maintain Azure AD and Office 365 productivity solutions for multiple clients.Duties And ResponsibilitiesAct as a subject matter expert and Tier II/III support for NOC/JSOC support teamManage Active Directory and email; maintain best practice configurations; provide recommendations on system improvements; and assist in the transition to Office 365Implement efficiencies through automationDeploy, maintain, and troubleshoot traditional Windows Servers and cloud services, as well as integrating various products and devicesManage a Microsoft domain environment, including AD, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, DFS, ADFS, LAPS and Windows 2012, 2016, 2019 serversDeploy enterprise-wide, multi-site server-system patchingAct as the lead administrator for various systems as needed by a variety of customersServe as a subject matter expert for Windows 10 and Office deployment solutionsMonitor server performance and troubleshoot problem areas as neededWork closely with other engineers of other disciplines for escalation supportWork with external vendors and partners to assist in troubleshooting systems as necessaryOther duties as assigned QualificationsRequired Skills And ExperienceExcellent oral and communication skills (some client-facing calls/sessions)2 years of relevant work experience managing a Microsoft Domain, Windows Servers, Exchange, VMware, and other mission critical enterprise level systemsExperience working with Cloud technologies and SaaS solutionsCandidate must be a quick learner with exceptional communications and customer service skillsA proactive mind-set with a focus on constant improvement and follow through at all levelsStrong technical problem-solving skillsIn-depth knowledge of Microsoft's suite of productsAbility to take ownership of issues, work independently or escalate as needed, and find creative ways to resolve problemsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly, and concisely present complicated computer concepts to end-users with differing skill levelsDesired SkillsExperience with Symantec Endpoint Protection, Nagios Monitoring, JIRA ticketing systems a plusMicrosoft, VMware and Cloud Certifications a plusScripting in PowerShell a plusExperience in working with or for a MSSPCuriosity and strong desire to constantly learnA self-starter with the ability to work in a fast paced and ever-changing environmentStrong ability to balance multiple priorities in a high demand environmentAdditional InformationJob Location: Reston, VAJob Type: Full-TimePay: $90K/yr (Depends on Experience)Travel: Up to 20% (Local)
