Duration: 2 years Interview Process: Video/Telephonic (Only on round) Visa: USC, GC and H1B with at least 6 months validity Duties: * Provide in-depth analysis, response and remediation on cyber incidents and determine course of action(s) to contain and eradicate threats * Provide independent thinking and real-time decision making to diagnose and analyze high severity escalated incidents ensuring critical response and remediation * Perform in-depth analysis, monitoring, research, assessment and recommendations on Intrusion detection and prevention tools, anomaly detection systems, firewalls, antivirus systems and proxy devices * Provide log/network/malware/device analysis and make recommendations for remediation of security vulnerability conditions * Leverage commercial and open source tools to quickly analyze, detect, and respond to cyber security incidents * Develop and maintain documentation of more complex threats and incidents to enhance event monitoring and incident response function and cyber tools * Develop internal documentation, such as detailed procedures, playbooks, and operational metrics reports to improve overall response times Education: * GCIA, GCIH, Security+ or comparable Information Security certifications * Working knowledge of IT Security Standards and Frameworks including ISO and NIST Experience: * Knowledge of operating systems and networking * 3+ years of experience with security architectures, devices, proxies, and firewalls * 2+ years of experience with Security Tools related to Enterprise Log Management, IDP/IDS, Antivirus, Firewalls, Proxies, DLP, Forensic Analysis and SIEM solutions * Experience in analyzing security event logs and correlating events * Ability to identify gaps in security monitoring and drive process improvements * Experience in host and network-based forensic/malware analysis Job Requirements:Assessing and testing security controlsCreate security incidents for unauthorized changesOperate information security reporting procedures to validate that security controls remain in placeMonitor security incidents as well as make recommendations to improve customer security postureImplement and maintain information resources securityPerform regular reviews of network security architectureAddress issues related to malware security, vulnerabilities, and issues of cyber security and preparednessFulfill a part-time security analyst position in AURORA, ILReport security incidents IAW site-specific requirements for reporting computer security incidents and violationsRemain up-to-date on the latest security information in order to validate the security analysis & identification capabilities of the security operations technologiesAcquire relevant security information on international destinations for key Company personnelObtain a security clearance if required by the clientLead the Cyber Security team, whose responsibilities include the developing cyber security solutions, troubleshooting and improving cyber security controls, and supporting cyber security projectsDefine security configuration and operational standards for security systems and applicationsRecommend, and implement changes to enhance systems securityProvide hands-on security administration of a broad range of security duties and requires a high level of technical experienceProvide oversight and coordination of national security initiatives across the company and advocate the company's position on national security mattersMaintain, and orally present plans and system-specific security guidance regarding the technical security controls implemented in the information systemAssess security related factors within the IT infrastructurePerform regular security and compliance scans of all IT systems for vulnerabilities
