Location: Manassas, VA Description: Our client is currently seeking an IT Business Requirements Analyst for OCP squad in Platform Services Organization. Scope: Primary role of the candidate would be to translate customer requirements into technical specifications for medium to large size/complexity/system risk projects ensuring customers' business problems are solved.This job will have the following responsibilities:01 . Lead and plan the definition, analysis, validation and maintenance of functional requirements for large size/complexity/system risk projects by working in close liaison with customers and other divisions and in line with evolving business requirements02 . Validate proposed solutions to technical and/or business problems in relation to current and future business environment, reconciling business requirements with technical solutions.03 . Provide highly technical or relevant business knowledge during all phases of the development and resolve unique and complex business problems, recognizing technical constraints.04 . Produce and maintain conceptual models (data and functional) in accordance with the adopted methodology.05 . Conduct presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives. Approve and conduct training session on system solutions.06 . Understand technological trends in own area of responsibility and apply this knowledge to bring solutions to the customers.07 . Lead and plan the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology.08 . Interface with application software development and other users as appropriate to explain solutions.09 . In line with established procedures, organize, co-ordinate and control the recurring output of one or several teams of specialists in the area. May be consulted on people- and department management issues. Assist less senior team members in resolving problems.10 . May support business users on deployed/live systems.11. You will actively engage with your squad, a multi-disciplinary, autonomous team, composed of product management, development, quality assurance, operations, and other key stakeholders to ensure that the functional and non-functional requirements are in line with customer expectations.12. You will contribute to the continuous improvement on how to have maximum effectiveness in a changing, Agile, environment. You participate in the life of the squad and in the Agile ceremonies.13.
