Job Description Serve as the lead engineer for capabilities within the newly created, non-persistent desktop environment being built in an Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure initiative that utilizes Multifactor Authentication (MFA) and Citrix components to replace the current Virtual Secure Desktop (VSD) functionality. C2I is the new cloud environment built in the Amazon Web Services (AWS)-Top Secret (TS) region to host all current and future Secure Web Services (SWS). The resource shall possess in-depth knowledge of software and systems design, engineering, integration, and production implementation. Teamwork is important: work will be performed with some direction and collaboration. Must be able to develop a "big picture" view driven from technical details and be able to identify "ripple effects" from individual technical decisions. Responsibilities: Provide program management support, technical knowledge, and engineering expertise for the concerned software or system and its operational environment Perform functional analysis, design, configuration, testing, and generating the integration and implementation documentation that is required for transitioning into production Support the establishment and maintenance of the required lab environments, support the development and execution of various levels of testing or for conducting client or internal demonstrations Generate cyber security artifacts that are required to satisfy the DoD Risk Management Framework and its accreditation checklist Support other duties as required, including participation to internal or client meetings that are required at various intervals including weekly or monthly Qualifications: BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related technical equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience Must have at least ten (10) years of experience, of which at least six (6) must be related to supporting full lifecycle implementation projects at DoD or other federal agencies Full lifecycle experience designing, testing building, and implementing systems of varying complexity within DoD or other federal agency environments Experience with core Citrix technologies (or comparable competitor) including virtualization platforms such as Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, StoreFront, and Provisioning Services Other desired technology experience areas include: Ansible, PowerShell scripting, development languages such as Java, Python, C# Identity and Access Management - Active Directory, PKI, Kerberos, SAML-based authentication Microsoft Windows / Linux system administration Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and working within a cloud computing environment for full lifecycle systems and or software implementations Experience with Agile and rapid prototyping development methodologies Knowledge of DoD processes that are required for the production implementation of DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) accredited systems Experience transitioning to sustainment teams and providing engineering support that is required to achieve desired service level targets while in an operational state Familiarity with current DoD IT procedures and policies Company Description CACG is a technology strategy and management consulting firm providing innovative solutions for public sector clients.
