Currently, the Companys corporate employees are working remotely with a planned return to the office in October 2021.Summary:The Senior Treasury Analyst will be primarily responsible for assisting with Treasury functions including, but not limited to, daily cash management, wire/ACH payment reviews/approvals within our Treasury Management System (Kyriba) and heading up efforts to utilize Kyriba for various analytical and process improvement initiatives. The Senior Treasury Analyst will be a valued member of the Treasury team and a highly visible key contributor to growing the Treasury function at JBG SMITH. Responsibilities: Review, approve, and troubleshoot payments in Kyriba and input wires on banking portalsMonitor Positive Pay exceptions across all banking relationshipsPerform daily cash and liquidity management functionsCollaborate with the Accounting and Treasury teams to open, maintain, and close bank accountsManage online banking portal user entitlements and ensure that modifications are made as business needs ariseEnsure that all current and future Treasury processes adhere to internal policies, controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirementsMonitor account analysis statements via bank imports into Kyriba, note increases in bank fees, and work with our banking partners to negotiate lower bank feesField questions from auditors and internal parties regarding bank account transactions, payment backup documentation, and bank portal access entitlementsMaintain a business continuity binder that will provide documentation on all Treasury processes, points of contact, and scenario-based action plansServe as the point of contact for JBG SMITHs Purchase Card and T Card program. Responsibilities include reporting, onboarding new cardholders, addressing employee questions/concerns, and maintaining cardholder credit limit requests and approvalsDocument, monitor, and audit all tenant Letter of Credit holdingsEnsure that daily bank files have been received and processed successfully in Kyriba and help to troubleshoot unusual issues that may arise in KyribaUsing Kyriba as the system of record, ensure consistency of bank account information in our ERP (Yardi) and A/P system (Paymode-X) and troubleshoot discrepancies with respective internal and external partiesPerform other tasks or special projects as needed Qualifications: As a condition of employment, all external candidates must provide proof that you are fully vaccinated from COVID-19 as of your first day of employment, unless a request for an accommodation had been approved. Fully vaccinated means two weeks has passed since the last dose in a two-dose series or two weeks after a single-dose shotBachelors degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or other business discipline required3-5 years of relevant experience in a treasury/cash management role with a publicly traded company preferredCertified Treasury Professional designation preferredExperience using a Treasury Management System (Kyriba preferred)Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (with an emphasis on Excel)Ability to think critically and perform job duties within a constantly evolving environmentA collaborative work ethic and value-add mentalityProven ability to prioritize and multi-task while still exhibiting good judgement, attention to detail, and poise in a fast-paced environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff throughout the organizationJBG SMITH is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
