Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group has partnered with a prominent transportation company in Washington, D.C. to find a Sourcing Specialist who can support internal reassignment searches by recruiting and evaluating job candidates, advising managers, managing organizational re-locations, and administering light Human Resource functions.

  • Screening resumes from internal candidates and performing in-person and phone interviews
  • Administering appropriate company assessments and communicating requirements of the program
  • Coordinating interviews with the hiring managers
  • Managing the reassignment on-boarding process for qualified candidates
  • Facilitating on-boarding by processing medical and background checks, ensuring registration for required training, and maintaining appropriate documentation in compliance with state and federal laws

Qualifications/Background profile:
  • Minimum of two years of recruiting and/or sourcing experience
  • Excellent communication and written skills are required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Customer-focused, ideally experience with case or client management
