Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group in collaboration with a Not-for-profit organization is searching for a Web Manager responsible for leading web projects to enable the organization's web properties to provide best-in-class user experiences. The Manager will be a key-driver of Digital Services' individual engagement strategy. This is a fully remote opportunity; candidate can sit anywhere in the United States, but the DC area is preferred.   • Prioritize the user and organizational objectives at all decision points
  • Manage the full life-cycle of assigned sites
  • Update production timelines via the organization's web and mobile publishing process and tools
  • Assist with development projects for Expression Engine (may migrate to AWS in the coming year)
  • Manage development on large-scale projects that utilize external vendors or contractors
  • Offer expertise to internal/external stakeholders on product integrations, feasibility, upgrading as appropriate
  • Track/analyze website traffic trends and use findings to make data-driven decisions re: editorial content
  • Monitor web traffic, performance, and capacity to identify, prevent, and resolve issues
  • Develop processes to increase workflow efficiency and general web team productivity
  • Maintain a backlog of product updates gathered from engaging internal/external audiences; organize into sprint schedules, collaboration with IT and Communications partners
  • Ensure organization's brand standards on all web projects

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications, or equal experience
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated success managing website projects and digital campaigns
  • Experience with web writing, graphic design, CMS management, and marketing a plus
  • In-depth understanding of online marketing practices
  • Experience managing an online community
  • Ability to craft/execute online engagement campaigns in support of overall business objectives
  • Working knowledge of web analytics applications (i.e., Google Analytics, Salesforce CRM, AWS web environments), Google Ads/Search engine campaign creation, general UTM creation/tracking and SEO knowledge
