Principal Process Manager, Talent Alignment

The Card Tech Recruiting Team is seeking a Process Manager as part of the Chief of Staff Business Management Office for Card Technology (CT). It's an exciting time to be in Technology, especially Card Tech, as the team transforms the way we do business to deliver effortless digital experiences to our customers. The Chief of Staff office drives horizontal key initiatives that support ~3500 associates across multiple geographies and multiple business domains. This Process Manager position will be a critical part of the Card Tech Chief of Staff team driving talent alignment strategy and overseeing a new talent matching model: the talent conductor model.

You will contribute to the overall success of Capital One's Talent Acquisitions strategy, and our ability to significantly and strategically scale as an organization. In this role, you'll be challenged to create innovative ways to increase recruiting engagement, and ultimately help our organization achieve tremendous year-over-year hiring growth. Your horizontal role will give you access to a variety of projects and teams across Talent Acquisition, enabling growth and the development of new skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the ongoing talent alignment strategy for the Card Tech organization
  • Drive talent and organizational strategies that help achieve business goals and objectives and attract, retain, and develop the best talent
  • Analyze domain-level hiring trends, and craft appropriate solutions
  • Build close and collaborative partnerships with multiple HR partners including HR Consultants (HRC), Recruiting, Enterprise D&I Team, Tech Events, Tech Selection, Tech College, CapitalOne University (COU), etc.
  • Guide new managers through the recruiting process through formal training and ad hoc informational sessions.
  • Coordinate alignment between cross-functional teams such as finance, labor strategy, communications, enterprise teams, and real-estate
  • Ensure selection process is well documented and outlined processes are adhered to
  • Identify any outstanding communication gaps, and assemble appropriate resources

A qualified candidate will:
  • Understand business technology and demonstrate exceptional communication skills
  • Demonstrate strong collaboration skills with the ability to navigate and influence across levels internally and external to our organization
  • Have a record of defining strategy, creating advocacy/alignment and being accountable for outcomes
  • Blend strategic and tactical thinking to balance overall objectives and priorities with needs and logistics
  • Regularly and systematically use data to uncover opportunities, track performance, and drive decision making
  • Manage a workload of multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal direction and supervision

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or military experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in Project/Process Management or Talent Acquisition

Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least one year of Talent Acquisition experience from any of the following job families (recruiting, sourcing, people analytics, or labor and finance)
  • 4+ years of experience in Project/Process Management
  • 2+ years of data analysis experience
