Description: Position with primary responsibility to work with Service Foremen to execute service division jobs and projects. This job is Safety-Sensitive. Safety-Sensitive jobs include tasks or duties that could affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task or others. These tasks and duties include, but are not limited to operating: material handling equipment, motorized vehicles, roofing equipment/machinery, power tools, working at height over four feet and working in confined spaces (or as prescribed by OSHA). Essential Job Functions: * Work with foreman to load truck with materials for daily use * Assist foreman with setting up job in safe manner * Perform roofing tasks as directed by foreman * Clean up job site at end of day or before leaving site * Engage in active learning of various roofing systems * Do roof repairs and use ladders for access * Identify leaks and other problems * Tasks will be performed in accordance with OSHA state, local and client-specific safety requirements In addition to the essential functions listed above, the employee is expected to exercise honesty, integrity and respect with all customers and co-workers, follow Company policies and procedures, maintain a professional demeanor and work ethic, demonstrate a positive attitude, communicate effectively with co- workers and customers, work with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail, respect the work environment and keep it as neat and clean as possible, and exercise initiative to learn new skills and tasks and to help co-workers when possible. Requirements: Qualifications: * Ability to read and write * Ability to climb ladders and work at heights * Ability to communicate clearly * Ability and interest in learning various roofing systems * Ability to understand and follow customers and GSM safety practices * Valid Drivers license * Service Roofer: OSHA 10 certification prior to or within one (1) year of performing this role * Service Foreman: OSHA 30 certification prior to or within one (1) year of performing this role Machines/Tools/Equipment: Variety of tools including ladders, saws, cutters and hand tools Working Conditions: Outside on roofs in all types of weather.
