Mid-size Maryland law firm seeking an exceptional paralegal for its bankruptcy practice in Greenbelt, MD. The Bankruptcy Paralegal will assist attorneys with preparing, processing and reviewing bankruptcy petitions and pleadings, coordinating with clients, research, calendaring deadlines, preparing mailings, investigations, fact checking, and hearing preparation. Successful candidate will meet the following criteria: Advanced understanding of the fundamentals of Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcies and foreclosures Experience with e-filing cases Must be proficient with basic accounting Must possess the ability to work independently but also be a team player Must possess excellent communications skills Must provide exceptional customer service Must be detail oriented and organized Must be proactive At least 3-5 years experience in bankruptcy paralegal role Experience with PACER and Bestcase College degree or paralegal certificate (preferred)by Jobble
