Serving all aspects of the three-part mission of research, education and patient care, the team leads the creation and execution of a comprehensive digital strategy that spans across marketing technologies, content creation and distribution, user-centered design and development, digital marketing and social engagement, and data-driven performance analysis, that through precision marketing transforms the way we connect with our customers to meet engagement, acquisition and retention goals.The Sr. Marketing Automation and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Specialist reports to the Director of Internet Marketing and Social Engagement and is responsible for the management and execution of marketing automation and CRM strategies. This position is based within Marketing & Communications, collaborates closely with Information Technology and leverages opportunities across the enterprise, inclusive of the Johns Hopkins Health System, School of Medicine and all its divisions and departments, to innovate and drive strategy for our demand generation, lead nurturing, journeys and automated communications programs in support of enterprise and client level objectives. The role is integral to driving growth and retention for the company across all channels. This role builds and translates requirements into sophisticated segmentations/personas, automations and journey buildouts, which integrate and push and pull key data elements from marketing technologies. This role employs CRM/PRM and Marketing Automation tools (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) to build campaigns, emails, journeys, workflows and audience segmentations. This role handles setup, deployment, management, optimization and reporting of automated marketing campaigns.The role supports the full business architecture design throughout the entire lifecycle (build, testing, validation and maintenance), and collaborates to ensure proper secure sockets layer (SSL) certification, in addition to other security measures such as data encryption, audit trail and will consult on processes and training to scale out secure and proper use of data across platforms.Education:Requires a Bachelor's Degree preferably in Marketing or Communications.
