Orion Management, LLC (Orion) is currently seeking a Project Manager with experience in managing Fire life safety and Security systems to include ACS, CCTV and IDS. Small to medium size Electrical installations is a plus. The applicant shall also be committed to quality and safety industry practices. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall construction direction, completion, and financial outcome for assigned projects to ensure being on time and within budget. The person selected to fill this role will need to have the ability to mentor and manage staff and interact in a dynamic environment with management and customers at all levels.Responsibilities and Duties:Responsible for overall project delivery (cost, schedule, quality, safety, information, contract performance) on multiple project assignmentsManage project development from conception through completion (both large and small) in accordance with Orion objectives and contract requirementsReview and approve proposals, including pricing and cost estimatesManage all budgets, forecasts, schedules, scope development, design and contract performance, documents, procedures and controls for assigned projectsMaintain good relationships with customers, owners, subcontractors, vendors, Orion employees, etc.Monitor and manage subcontractor, vendor and consultant contract performance and review submitted invoices and contract change requests to ensure submissions are necessary, appropriate and accurateProperly document project performance and issues with customer, subcontractors and vendorsResolve project related issues, disputes, and disagreementsDirect and supervise the work of project and other support staff, including coordination of technical and manpower resources, to ensure organizational and operational priorities are metTimely coordination with organizational stakeholders to ensure company procedures are followed and required approvals are obtainedPrepare accurate and acceptable monthly customer invoicesPrepare monthly progress, financial and other reports for assigned projectsForecast monthly project invoicing and related costsMonitor and report project performance variances from projected schedules and costsAttend assigned organizational and customer meetingsIdentify training needsMultitask and work in a fast pace environmentExperience and Education:8-10 years related experience with at least 4 years in the lead role on complex and large projectsNICET Level 3 or 4 certification preferredBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related fieldOr equivalent combination of education and experienceActive Secret Clearance (or above) preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Strong technical and communication skillsExperience ensuring compliance with safety, OSHA, ANSI, Federal Acquisition Regulation and other project-related rules and regulationsExperience managing projects with or for the US Governmentcommitted to quality and safetyndExperience with low voltage security and fire alarm systems, design, installation, and maintenance preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6Physical Requirements:Walking, stooping, climbing, balancing, lifting, talking, hearing, and sitting for long periods of timeLight work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light workThe worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assignedThe worker is subject to both environmental conditions.
