Overview:A male/ female individual is seeking a caring, reliable and devoted direct support professional to assist her with her activities of daily living. These may include but are not limited to personal care and grooming, outings and recreational activities in the community, light housekeeping and preparing meals. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, be willing to complete medication technician training and have at least one year of experience in the field.Responsibilities:Assist individual(s) with activities of daily living; to include but not limited to:Personal care and groomingPreparing mealsLight housekeepingProviding transportationOutings and recreational activities in the communityAdministering medicationQualifications:The ideal candidate must:Have excellent interpersonal & communication skillsA high school DiplomaA valid US Driver LicenseAn acceptable Criminal Background InvestigationAn acceptable drug screenAn acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (no more than 3 points on record)A passing score on the Medication Administration Pre Test (completed at the time of interview)Be willing to complete Medication Administration 20 hour training course upon hire
