Job Description GENERAL SUMMARY : We are seeking an RN - Registered Nurse - PT for Residential Health Services to join our team You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned residents. Tuesday and Wednesday 4:00pm - 8:00pm. Responsibilities: Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled residents Diagnose and establish resident treatment plans Monitor and report changes in resident symptoms or behavior Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists and family members regarding resident care Educate residents about health maintenance and disease prevention Maintain accurate resident medical records Provide advice and emotional support to resident and their family members Other Duties : 1. Maintains the self respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident. 2. Maintains accurate documentation of all care rendered. 3. Responds to resident emergency call system. 4. Interfaces with other disciplines to assure continuity of care and services. 5. Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned. 6. Assures proper functioning of equipment and adequate supplies. 7 Administers first aid/emergency care to employees when necessary and assesses whether to send the employee off site or by 911 for additional care. 8 Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications: Currently licensed in the State. Must have current CPR certification.
