Job Description We are seeking RN/LPN to join our team You will work alongside fellow caregivers to provide high quality patient care. RN/LPN who is responsible for the overall nursing care/service on his/her shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls, as indicated. FT & PT 12hr Shifts (7:00am - 7:30pm ) or (7:00pm - 7:30am Night Shift Differential included) FT includes Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription, 401k, Life Insurance) $800 Sign On Bonus paid out over 6 months Responsibilities: Supervises direct care of residents and nursing personnel on his/her shift. Administers direct care as necessary. Administer prescribed medications to patients Make rounds to assure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment. Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in resident's condition. Assists in developing comprehensive care plans. Other Duties : 1. Maintains the self respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident. 2. Maintains accurate documentation of all care rendered. 3. Responds to resident emergency call system. 4. Interfaces with other disciplines to assure continuity of care and services. 5. Accompanies physicians when making rounds. 6. Encourages restorative care in order to obtain maximum resident independence. 7. Participates in family/resident counseling, as necessary. 8. Assists with the orientation and evaluation of nursing personnel. 9. Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned. 10. Assures proper functioning of equipment and adequate supplies. 11. Administers first aid/emergency care to employees when necessary and assesses whether to send the employee off site or by 911 for additional care. 12. Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor. "A cents € 1 Qualifications: RN/LPN currently licensed in the State. Must have current CPR certification. Previous experience in nursing, patient care, or other related fields . At least 6 months nursing experience in long term care setting preferred.
